Create an app collection

Prepare available apps

Create the apps you want to show and check their names, icons and download status. A collection organizes links; adding an app does not resolve takedown, expiry or missing packages.

Create and maintain a collection

1. Go to App distribution → App collections and select Create collection.
2. Enter a title and optional description, then choose an available distribution domain. Titles allow up to 24 characters and descriptions up to 80.
3. Select Choose apps to add apps. An enabled collection requires at least one app. You can select across pages or select the current page; remove unavailable apps first.
4. Use Add category if needed, then assign categories to apps. Move apps up or down to reorder them. Categories appear publicly only when Show categories is enabled.
5. Enable the collection and select Create and save. For an existing collection, select Save changes. Check its Enabled status in the list, then open the collection link.

Check the full visitor journey

Open the collection on desktop and mobile. Check search, categories, app details and the destination download page. Search for an absent keyword to check the no-results state.

Confirm that the collection link uses an available domain. If the old domain is disabled, choose a replacement in management and recheck the share link.

Save failed or content has not changed

If Save incomplete, draft retained appears, retry before closing. For a version conflict, load the latest content and merge your changes.

If the page is unavailable, first check that the collection is enabled and its domain works, then check individual apps.

Categories and disabled drafts

A collection supports up to 12 categories. Names must be unique, 1–16 characters, and cannot use All or Other apps. Deleting a category keeps its apps and marks them as uncategorized.

Disable the collection to save a draft without selected apps. Before enabling it again, meet the app-count and availability requirements.
