Review capacity rates and examples, including version history, trash and capacity bills.
Current platform pricing
Prices verified on 2026-10-10. These are platform default rates; individually agreed account or app rates take priority.
USD reference prices · Converted using ECB rates dated 2026-11-04: 1 USD ≈ 6.672317 CNY. Actual settlement remains in CNY as shown on the account bill.
USD rates and examples are rounded for display. Calculators apply the original billing rules before converting at the full exchange rate, so final digits may differ from multiplying the displayed rates.
Capacity prices apply to later measurements from their effective time. This page is a public snapshot as of the verification date; historical charges use the rates applicable then.
| Billing item | Current platform rate | Measurement |
|---|---|---|
| Storage capacity | 0.000749 USD / GiB-day | Billable capacity × actual storage time, settled daily in Beijing time |
Capacity and time are billed together
Storage capacity accumulates over actual storage time in GiB-days and settles daily in Beijing time. 1 GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes.
Capacity cost = the sum, across periods, of billable capacity (GiB) × storage duration (days) × applicable rate. Treat capacity changes as separate periods; capacity-bill records determine final measurements and amounts.
Three examples
The following examples use the storage reference rate of 0.000749 USD / GiB-day and include storage capacity charges only.
| Storage scenario | Capacity-time usage | Example capacity cost |
|---|---|---|
| 10 GiB stored for one full day | 10 × 1 = 10 GiB-days | 0.007494 USD |
| 10 GiB stored for 12 hours | 10 × 0.5 = 5 GiB-days | 0.003747 USD |
| 10 GiB for the first 12 hours, then 20 GiB for the next 12 | 10 × 0.5 + 20 × 0.5 = 15 GiB-days | 0.011240 USD |
What counts toward capacity
Current files, historical versions and trash all count. Overwritten or trashed data may remain stored and continue using capacity.
Under Object storage VOS charges, expand Current capacity breakdown to see current files, history and trash by bucket. Upload reservations and pending physical cleanup have separate states. A missing item in the current folder does not prove its capacity has been released.
Daily settlement and actual deductions
Capacity bills show billing periods, amounts and payment status by bucket and use the shared account balance. Daily settlement does not mean an immediate charge at midnight; check billing records for the result.
Awaiting deduction, Processing, Insufficient balance and Awaiting retry are not completed payments. Insufficient balance prevents successful deduction. Retrying an already paid bill returns its original result without another charge. Billing reversals are recorded separately.
Where to find prices and bills
- Open Expense Center → VOS Storage Costs and check Current storage rate. Capacity is measured in GiB-days; console amounts use the actual account billing currency.
- Under Capacity bills, select start and end dates and a bucket, then review the billing period, amount and payment status.
- Check Pending storage charges for unsettled costs. Export current page saves only the records on that page.
- Not configured does not mean free; only an explicitly configured zero means a zero capacity rate. Price changes apply prospectively under their effective rules, not retrospectively to old bills.
What capacity pricing covers
This page describes object storage capacity charges. For combined services such as CDN, check their separate usage and costs. A capacity rate is not a CDN traffic rate.
Confirm the conditions for request, upload and download services before integration. The capacity quote does not imply that all access services are free.
