App Distribution
Publish your first app
Choose a billing model, upload an APK or IPA, confirm app details and check the download page.
Prepare your package and billing model
Prepare the original APK or IPA and test installation on the target device. An IPA needs a suitable signature and installation permissions; uploading does not sign the app.
Go to App distribution → Upload app. Monthly apps use subscriptions; Pay as you go charges per download. The billing model is locked once uploading starts.
Upload, enter details and create
- Choose Monthly apps or Pay as you go, then select an APK or IPA. You can start with one platform and add the other after creation.
- Wait for upload and parsing to finish. When the package is ready, select Confirm app details.
- Enter an app name, review the read-only current version, optionally add a description, and check the icon. Names allow up to 80 characters and descriptions up to 500.
- Select Preview download page to review the result. Return to the form for changes, then select Create app.
- After creation, check the platform, version and download status in app details. Copy the distribution link and open it in a new window.
Continue after refreshing or leaving
Once Draft saved and its expiry time appear, completed packages and app details remain editable until that time. Return to Upload app and select Continue editing in the unfinished apps list. Files still uploading may need to be selected again; saving a draft does not mean the upload is complete.
Continue creating means the app record exists but package linking is incomplete; use that button to resume. Open created app takes you to the existing result without creating a duplicate.
Check the published result
Open the distribution link in a new window and verify the name, version, platform and description. Then test downloading and installation on the corresponding device.
Real downloads may incur charges under the current billing rules. A preview cannot verify installation or confirm a download charge.
Upload and installation issues
| Issue | What to do |
|---|---|
| File rejected or parsing failed | Use the original APK or IPA. Check that it is complete and installs on the target device. Keep the error message; do not rename the extension to bypass format checks. |
| Confirm app details is unavailable | Check for active upload or parsing tasks. Wait until all selected packages are ready, or cancel failed tasks and retry. |
| Wrong billing model selected | Return to the upload step. After active tasks finish or are cancelled, select Clear and choose again. This removes unused temporary packages. |
| Draft conflict or changes not yet synced | Keep a copy of your unsaved text, then follow the prompt to save or reload the latest draft before creating the app. |
| Download page opens but installation fails | Check the target OS, signature, certificate and device restrictions. Web hosting cannot remove operating-system installation restrictions. |
Downloaded file will not install
First distinguish a failed download from a downloaded file that the OS refuses to install. An accessible page does not prove that the package, signature and target device meet the requirements.
| Scenario | What to check |
|---|---|
| Android reports a parsing error or incompatibility | Check file completeness, OS version and device architecture, then retest with the original APK. |
| Android update reports a signature conflict | Check that the old and new packages have matching package names and signatures. Do not immediately ask users to uninstall; they could lose local data. |
| iOS cannot install or verify the app | Check the IPA signature, certificate validity, device authorization and provisioning profile. Enterprise-signed apps may also require trust settings in iOS. |
| APK or IPA cannot be installed on a computer | The desktop page is for reviewing details and scanning the QR code. Open the download page on the appropriate Android or iOS device. |
| Download did not start or was interrupted | Check the download switch, app service status and network, then record the actual page error. Investigate separately from OS installation failures. |
Before sharing
App descriptions and media on the download page are public. Do not include internal accounts, test passwords or customer data. Download availability also depends on packages, service status, the account and access settings.
