CDN billing

Updated 6 min read

Review current static and dynamic acceleration prices, billable usage, request charges and hourly settlement.

Current platform pricing

Prices verified on 2026-10-10. These are platform default rates; individually agreed account or app rates take priority.

USD reference prices · Converted using ECB rates dated 2026-11-04: 1 USD ≈ 6.672317 CNY. Actual settlement remains in CNY as shown on the account bill.

USD rates and examples are rounded for display. Calculators apply the original billing rules before converting at the full exchange rate, so final digits may differ from multiplying the displayed rates.

The static download reference rate of 0.010491 USD / GB is converted from the initial standard rate for website sign-ups. It does not change existing account rates. Existing accounts should check their applicable rate under Current reference rates.

What generates charges

What generates charges
Service and itemBilling unitCalculation
Standard static CDN: static outbound trafficGBBillable usage for the item × rate
Dynamic acceleration: static outbound, dynamic outbound and dynamic inbound trafficGBCalculated separately for enabled items with actual usage
Dynamic request charges (when enabled)10,000 requestsRequests accumulated per domain and billing group within an hour, rounded up to 10,000-request units

Traffic units and reconciliation scope

CDN uses decimal units: 1 GB = 1,000 MB = 1,000,000,000 bytes. This differs from GiB used for object storage capacity.

Use billable usage in Usage and charges and the corresponding item rates. Raw monitoring traffic and billable usage use different measurement rules; do not mix figures from different pages.

Reconcile by domain and usage period. The system measures Mainland China and other regions separately; the billing page shows totals across all billing regions. The global total is for reconciliation, not an extra charge on top of regional costs.

Formulas and examples

Traffic cost = static outbound billable usage × static outbound rate + dynamic outbound billable usage × dynamic outbound rate + dynamic inbound billable usage × dynamic inbound rate. Only enabled items with usage are included.

At the initial static download reference rate of 0.010491 USD / GB, 100 GB of billable usage costs approximately 0.010491 × 100 ≈ 1.049111 USD. Use the account rate if it differs; do not multiply raw monitoring traffic directly by this rate.

When request billing is enabled, divide requests in each hourly domain billing group by 10,000, round up, then multiply by the request rate. At 0.014987 USD / 10,000 requests, a group with 10,001 requests costs approximately 2 × 0.014987 ≈ 0.029975 USD. Regions and different rates are calculated separately; do not combine the whole month and round up only once.

When usage is measured and charged

Usage is measured in five-minute intervals, collected with a delay buffer and settled hourly. The current buffer is about 30 minutes. Upstream data, collection and retries also affect display and charging times; completion within exactly 30 minutes is not guaranteed.

Valid late or unsettled usage is settled later. Already paid billing groups are charged only for the unsettled difference; previously paid request tiers are not charged again.

Amounts use the price snapshot recorded when usage is successfully collected. Changing current reference rates does not directly recalculate saved historical records.

Settled, pending and missing data

Settled, pending and missing data
Displayed statusMeaning
Settled amountPosted charges; reconcile against spending records and account transactions
Pending estimateEstimated unprocessed usage with valid price information; not yet a confirmed deduction
Missing prices or recordsUnable to price or missing evidence; this does not mean zero cost
Billing date differs from usage dateMay reflect collection delays or later settlement; align the usage periods

View your rates and details

  1. Go to Billing center → CDN charges → Usage and charges. Select domains and dates; amounts include all billing regions.
  2. Expand Current reference rates to see applicable item prices. These explain current pricing and cannot directly recalculate historical bills.
  3. Review charge records and spending details, matching items, usage and recorded rates for the same usage period.
  4. If a discrepancy remains, contact support with a redacted domain, usage period, billing item and transaction reference.

Relation to distribution and storage

CDN usage and app download counts are different measurements. When object storage is the origin, capacity and CDN access are billed separately. A cache hit does not make delivery to visitors free.
