Costs and bills

Usage, bills and account transactions

Updated 4 min read

Reconcile by product, item, time and unit, keeping usage statistics distinct from posted charges.

Prepare the reconciliation scope

Open Billing center with the product, app ID, CDN domain or bucket and dates ready. After signing in, review balance, usage and posted costs. Find rates through each product's billing guide; use Contact and support for quotes not shown on the page.

Trace a charge and its balance change

  1. Go to Billing center → Spending and filter by product and dates. Use transaction references, app IDs, order numbers or domains when known.
  2. Open the entry and note the item, unit, usage period and amount. For CDN, align the domain and region too.
  3. For original product usage, open CDN charges or Object storage VOS charges. App download records are under App distribution → Download statistics.
  4. To reconcile balance changes, open Account transactions and distinguish spending, top-ups and adjustments. Total spending does not represent all balance movements.
  5. If differences remain, keep transaction references, resource identifiers, usage periods and posting times, then send redacted records through support.

Object storage capacity bills

Go to Billing center → Object storage VOS charges for current capacity, pending charges and the current rate. Capacity accumulates in GiB-days and settles daily in Beijing time. Current files, history and trash all count.

Filter Capacity bills by dates and bucket to inspect periods and payment status. Export current page includes only that page. Awaiting deduction, Processing, Insufficient balance and Awaiting retry do not mean paid.

What each dataset means

What each dataset means
DataHow to interpret it
Usage statisticsService usage; pay attention to scope and collection delays.
Spending recordsReconcile charges by billing item, unit and period.
Account transactionsActual changes to account funds and their corresponding records.
Usage period / Posting timeOne describes when service was used; the other when it was recorded. Delays and later adjustments can make them differ.

Compare on the same basis

Align account, resource, dates, region, item and unit before comparing. Download counts, traffic and request counts are not interchangeable. Missing historical fields cannot be inferred as certain facts.

Reconcile app distribution, CDN and object storage separately when using them together. Cache hits do not necessarily make delivery to visitors free.

Balance unchanged or data missing after payment

  1. Find the top-up in Account transactions and check its order number, payment time and amount. Opening checkout, scanning a QR code or returning to the page does not prove that funds were credited.
  2. Refresh transaction records or query the order if the result is unclear. Avoid paying again immediately. Keep the order number and contact support to verify it.
  3. Retry failed billing-page loads and check product and date filters. Not configured or — must not be interpreted as zero cost.
  4. If usage and bills differ, realign the resource, unit, region, usage period and posting time, then compare individual records.

Prices and corrections

Applicable rates, effective times, measurement periods and adjustment rules follow the service terms confirmed for your account and its bills. This page does not promise fixed prices, free allowances or all-inclusive combined services.
