App Distribution
Read download statistics correctly
Align the app, dates and billing events before reconciling download counts and charges.
Understand the scope
Download statistics currently cover pay-as-you-go apps, showing traceable download records and charges. They do not represent all page visits, successful installations or active users.
Filter and export
- Go to App distribution → Download statistics and wait for charts and details to load.
- Search for a name in All pay-as-you-go apps and select the app. Clear the selection to restore all pay-as-you-go apps.
- Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. The range includes today; its description shows the selected app and period.
- Review Download charges, App download ranking and Daily details. Use Export daily details or Export ranking to save a copy.
- Select View billing and use the same app and date range to reconcile download charges. Renewals and additional-package charges are excluded from download statistics.
Charts and exported fields
| Location | Content | Reconciliation use |
|---|---|---|
| Daily details | Date, download records and charges | Compare downloads and spending for the same date |
| App download ranking | Download records grouped by app ID | Distinguish apps with the same name by ID |
| Export daily details | Scope, measurement basis, date, download count and charges (CNY) | Reconcile day by day with the filters preserved |
| Download charges | Charges for traceable download events in this range | Not a substitute for total spending, which includes renewals |
Use a consistent basis
Rankings group by app ID, so apps with identical names may appear separately. Daily details include identifiable pay-as-you-go download charges only, excluding renewals and additional-package charges.
Unavailable statistics, loading failures and zero downloads are different states. Confirm that data has loaded before interpreting a chart.
Data differs from expectations
Check the app filter, dates, account and billing model first. If old records cannot be traced, follow the page's scope description; do not treat missing data as real zeros.
For a discrepancy, keep transaction references, app IDs and the date range, and reconcile individual entries rather than only totals.
What statistics cannot tell you
A download record does not prove installation or app use. Download statistics and CDN traffic have separate measurement rules and cannot be directly converted into one metric.
